Back Roads is a travel mate. A virtual assistant that take advantage of the technology in order to provide information about the territory we are passing through. The mountain names and their geological origin, the cereal species and their seasonal cycles, the styles of the churches and the monuments, the most significant moments in history -whether great or small- to the village glimpsed on the horizon, or the town that the road passes through.
When we travel from one place to another, we frequently cross through territories we don’t know in depth, landscapes that spark questions and curiosity. Back Roads is the fun, engaging, and lighthearted answer to all those questions.
But it’s something more.
Available via the web and on Android and iOS apps, ‘Carreteras Secundarias’ is already operational for the section of the N-634 between Mondoñedo and Ribadeo. This project was a recipient of the Grants for the promotion of the Video Game and Podcast sectors, and other forms of digital creation, within the frame work of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience plan, and is supported by the Ministry of Culture.
