The first episode of Na Gloria is now available on AGalega, Televisión de Galicia’s digital platform. It can be watched at agalega.gal and on the Android and iOS apps. In this opening episode we are introduced to the main characters and the central storyline, which is why it has an extended runtime of 30 minutes. The remaining episodes, released weekly, will have a duration of 15 minutes.

The series was presented at the Pazo de Vilaboa in Culleredo, one of the main filming locations for Na Gloria. The event was attended by representatives of the production companies, Televisión de Galicia, and the series’ cast and crew, as well as media and well-known figures from the Galician audiovisual sector.

Na Gloria is set in a small village at the foot of the French Way of St James, whose quiet life is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of Pati (Cristina Castaño), an executive who leaves behind the stress of the business world to open a rural hotel in her grandparents’ village. What she does not expect is that her worldview will clash with the local way of life in A Gloria de Arriba, where the neighbours are not quite what she imagined.

In the village live Paca and Waldo (Lucía Veiga and David Perdomo), a slightly nosy couple who must balance their desire to treat customers well in their business with their dislike of Pati’s way of being. Lolo (Xosé A. Touriñán) is a good-hearted but somewhat lazy man who finds himself torn between wanting to please Pati and not stepping away from the general sentiment of his neighbours towards her. Along with Pati also arrives Bertín (Dani Rovira), an Andalusian haute cuisine chef who, upon setting foot in the village, quickly realises it is not his place.
