‘Amigos hasta la muerte’ becomes the big winner at FICCCUE

The latest edition of the Cuenca International Comedy Film Festival was a major success for Amigos hasta la muerte. The film directed by Javier Veiga received four awards at a ceremony held on Saturday 18 at the Teatro Auditorio José Luis Perales in the Castilian city.

In this second edition of the festival, Javier Veiga won Best Director and Best Actor, Xoel López received Best Original Song for Eco, and Javi Lopa was awarded Best Production Direction. Javier Veiga and Marta Hazas accepted the awards on behalf of the team.

The film has already enjoyed strong success since its release on streaming platforms in Latin America and across Spain, following its official premiere at the Málaga Film Festival and additional awards in Tudela, Alicante and Santander.
