As is tradition, the Galician Audiovisual Academy held its Mestre Mateo Awards Finalists’ Gathering. In this 22nd edition, Bechos is a finalist in the Best Web Series category, where it competes for the award against Terapia de… by Kraken Media, A arte de ser (mal) pai by Miraveo, and Nosoutras. As mulleres da revista Nós by Nós Televisión.

It was during this gathering that the four special awards granted by the Academy were presented. The Deleite Award for language promotion went to Bechos, “for the need for high-quality audiovisual productions in the Galician language aimed at children, helping them become familiar with the language from an early age, facilitating the learning process and promoting its everyday use.”

Bechos is an Undodez initiative focused on producing content in Galician, made locally, for young audiences. The series is available on xabarin.gal, on the Xabarín app for devices, and on the Televisión de Galicia YouTube channel.

The winners of this 22nd edition of the Galician audiovisual awards will be announced at the gala taking place on 23 March at the Coliseum in A Coruña.
