The animated series created by Andrés Mahía and Laura Mahía, produced by Undodez in co-production with Televisión de Galicia, begins in February its journey through various international festivals and markets with the aim of reaching new territories and languages. The Kidscreen Summit in San Diego (California, USA) will feature a delegation from the Galician production company, the only one from the region attending—as part of an ICEX-led mission.
Bibopalula premiered last November on Xabarin.gal, the entertainment platform of Televisión de Galicia, becoming the most-watched content on the digital channel. Since then, the Forest Band has been promoted across different media formats to reach Galician families, including a communication campaign in digital and print press, outdoor advertising, collaborations with RC Celta and Deportivo de La Coruña, as well as social media activations with various Galician influencers.
At Kidscreen, the Undodez delegation will explore distribution opportunities for the series across different territories and languages, highlighting its universal values, including music and learning about the natural environment.
The Kidscreen Summit is one of the world’s leading markets for children’s entertainment content. The previous edition brought together more than 1,800 delegates from 50 countries, including production companies, sales agents, distributors, television channels, and streaming platforms.
