The Castelo Conta festival was the chosen setting for the premiere of Nena, a short film directed by Xosé A. Touriñán and Jairo Iglesias. A Eira do Ferrador, in Xalo, Castelo (Culleredo), hosted a very special screening attended by the film’s cast. The location holds particular significance as it is the parish where Touriñán was born and still lives. He wrote this story about loss and emotional bonds, centred on a young girl who is forced to take on a role that does not correspond to her age.

At the premiere, Touriñán thanked the entire film crew for making the shoot possible, as well as Deleite, the Municipality of Mondoñedo and Agadic for their support. Carlos Blanco, David Perdomo, Noemi Rodríguez, Patricia Castrillón and Antía Touriñán later shared their first impressions after the screening, marked by the emotion of seeing Nena projected among friends and neighbours.

At the end of the event, Belém Tajes, composer of the original soundtrack, performed a concert that brought a close to a very special evening.
