The new edition of the Films from Galicia catalogue, promoted by AGADIC as part of its audiovisual internationalisation programme, once again places Galician production on the international market. The publication, released in English and accompanied by a promotional video, features a yearly selection of projects that reflect the diversity and creative strength of the country’s audiovisual industry.
This year, the catalogue includes two Undodez productions:
On the one hand, Lola, Pig & Paco is an adult animated series that offers an irreverent and critical comedy about contemporary society. Through the story of a young man struggling to find his place in the world, his ex-partner and a peculiar friend — a talking pig — the project builds a transgressive perspective on personal relationships, precarious living conditions and the contradictions of adult life.
On the other hand, the catalogue also features the documentary To the Rhythm of the New Regueifa, a work that explores the transformation and revitalisation of this oral improvisation tradition. Through a journey across Galicia, the film brings together the voices of contemporary regueifa performers, creating a dialogue between tradition and modernity and portraying a living, diverse and constantly evolving art form.
The inclusion of these two productions in an international promotion platform such as Films from Galicia represents another step forward in the global projection of Galician audiovisual work, highlighting its ability to engage with international audiences without losing its cultural and linguistic roots.
