In recent days we have begun the production process for our new project: ‘Bibopalula’, an animated series made in Galician and designed for preschool audiences. The episodes will revolve around four birds who have a music band and who will tell many stories connected to the cycles of nature. Their adventures will introduce younger viewers to a new world hidden among the branches, the clouds and the sky.
In this way, we continue a journey that began with ‘Bechos’, our first animated series aimed at children and produced for Televisión de Galicia, which premiered over the last few months. Undodez’s commitment to creating audiovisual content for younger audiences continues with ‘Bibopalula’, a project supported by funding from the Xunta de Galicia through Agadic’s grants for the production and co-production of Galician audiovisual projects.
The team behind the series also reflects another of Undodez’s guiding principles: offering Galician-language content created by local professionals. ‘Bibopalula’ is designed and directed by Laura Mahía, while the scripts are written by Andrés Mahía. In addition, each episode will feature educational supervision by Patricia Castrillón and an original song composed by Santi Jul and Iván Laxe.
