The French city of Lille hosted at the end of March one of the major European markets for audiovisual fiction, the Series Mania Forum. Three Galician production companies, including Undodez, attended the event as part of the delegation organised by the Clúster Audiovisual Galego (Galician Audiovisual Cluster).
The Undodez team presented two fiction projects to different producers and broadcasters: one live-action series, Mar de Fóra, and one adult animation project, Lola, Porco & Paco. The former is a comedy set in the Costa da Morte that offers a new perspective on series dealing with drug trafficking in Spain, created by Xosé Castro, Andrés Mahía, and Xosé A. Touriñán. The animation series is one of the highest-ranked projects in last year’s development funding from the Xunta de Galicia; an adult comedy that aims to observe contemporary society through a transgressive, original and critical lens.
