We were in Castelo, Culleredo, presenting this new animated series for Televisión de Galicia. Xosé A. Touriñán, producer of the project and voice actor for Xurxo, one of the main characters in Bechos, was joined by Alba Mancebo from the digital content department at Televisión de Galicia, and Laura Mahía, designer and animator of the series, to introduce the project to the young audience and share its key details.
The children in attendance had the opportunity to watch a preview screening of the first episode of Bechos, which is now available on the Televisión de Galicia YouTube channel, on the Xabarín app, and on the CRTVG website. This series is an initiative by Undodez and TVG to offer Galician-language content, produced by local teams and aimed at preschool viewers.
Bechos is designed for children aged 3 to 6 and follows the adventures of four friends: Xurxo, Catuxa, Xiana and Margarida. Four little animals who learn about friendship, respect for the natural environment, emotional management, and the importance of sharing and recycling. Xosé A. Touriñán, Laura Mahía, Laura Canto and Patricia Castrillón lend their voices to this group made up of a sleepy and snack-loving boar, a clever and mischievous fox, a refined and proud mole, and an adventurous yet cautious cow.
The series is directed by Andrés Mahía, features music by Santi Jul and Iván Laxe, and scripts by Andrés Mahía, Saúl Rivas and Patricia Castrillón.
