The comedy show Catro Gatos, directed by Xosé A. Touriñán and starring him alongside David Perdomo, Fátima Pego and Noemi Rodríguez, is now available on AGalega. Its 13 episodes, each 25 minutes long, originally premiered in 2022 and were produced by Tex45 Produccións for Televisión de Galicia in collaboration with Undodez. They can now be watched on the CRTVG’s new digital audiovisual content platform.
The episodes of Catro Gatos revolve around four friends who meet in a bar to talk about life, personal experiences and their concerns. Each of them recalls anecdotes that lead into comedy sketches, where the actors play different characters and humour is always present.
With its inclusion on AGalega, which brings together more than 1,400 audiovisual titles, including feature films and top-tier Galician-language series, Catro Gatos gains a new window to reach more viewers and continue offering the humour of its cast.
A comedy show for Sunday nights
Catro Gatos, whose scripts were written by José L. Prieto, Manuel Cortés, David Perdomo and Xosé A. Touriñán, premiered in 2022 as a comedy programme for late Sunday evenings. The work of director Jairo Iglesias on this production was awarded at the 21st Mestre Mateo Awards. The rest of the team includes many of Undodez’s regular professionals, maintaining the company’s commitment to producing Galician-language content with local crews for Galician audiences.
