Bechos is an animation series for early viewers produced by Undodez for Televisión de Galicia. Directed by Andrés and Laura Mahía based on the latter’s drawings, the series introduces us, through the adventures of four little animals, to values such as respect for nature, the need to share and recycle, and the importance of friendship.
Following a first season premiere in 2023, Bechos launched its second season in May 2025, adding ten new episodes that expand the series’ universe with new settings and situations while keeping the same protagonists: Xurxo, Xiana, Catuxa, and Margarida. The proposal thus consolidates itself as a continued commitment to children’s content in Galician, produced in Galicia and designed for the earliest ages.
Featuring the voices of Xosé A. Touriñán, Marita Martínez, and Patricia Castrillón, among other actresses and actors, Bechos reaffirms the commitment of public television to high-quality, local, and educational animation. Both seasons can be followed on the Televisión de Galicia YouTube channel, on the Xabarín app, and on the CRTVG website.
